PRESS RELEASE

European leader in surveillance UAV, Azur Drones announce Technology Partnership with Genetec Inc. that integrates SKEYETECH automated drones with GenetecTM Security Center. With this partnership, security teams will be able to manage surveillance drones for the first time directly through GenetecTM Security Center.

Developed by Azur Drones R&D team for the last three years, SKEYETECH is the most advanced fully automated drone dedicated to surveillance. With its recharging base, SKEYETECH drone is operational 24/7 for automatic patrols or quick situational assessments triggered by alarms. Fast and effective, the drone improves operators’ responsiveness without jeopardizing their safety.

Azur Drones and Genetec technology relationship was formed to work together to meet security actors’ need for easy-to-implement and easy-to-use drone solutions.

Our clients are always looking for innovative solutions to increase the security of sensitive infrastructures,” explains Jordan Jaumeau, Director of the Development Partner Engagement Group at Genetec Inc. “With the ability to be on the scene in a snap of a finger and provide rich contextual information, drones allow operators to make fast and accurate operational decisions. Whether used for automated perimeter patrol, investigation of a remote incident, or support to response teams, this integration allows for information to be collected and leveraged directly through the Genetec Security Center interface,” added Jaumeau.

We believe that drones will be a game changer for the security market in the coming years,” adds Jean-Marc Crépin, CEO of Azur Drones. “That is why we have developed the SKEYETECH solution. Our strategic technology partnership with Genetec will allow SKEYETECH to fulfill its potential while at the same time benefiting from the worldwide exposure of an industry leader.”

In the past 6 months, Azur Drones have continued to build and sell SKEYETECH units to French blue chip companies seeking new levels of operational security and intelligence. The company is now scaling up production for fiscal year 2019.
